King Abdul Aziz International Airport Fuel Hydrant System

AMANA was awarded the Build project of the New Fuel Hydrant System construction including the Tie-in for the existing Fuel hydrant line to the newly constructed Fuel Farm. The 40 km Fuel Hydrant System includes 24″, 20″, 16″, 12″ underground pipelines. The entire hydrant network comprises of 268 hydrant pits and valves assembly, 215 HP/LP assembly and DBBs (MOV) of different sizes.

The main scopes of work included the engineering, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the entire fuel hydrant pipeline, installation of 77 DBB valves of various sizes (Manual and MOV), Drain, clean and purge the existing tie-in line and tie-in from the existing line through the existing valve chambers.

Additionally AMANA constructed the taxiway crossing pipe line design and construction.
