Terminal 5, King Khalid International Airport

AMANA was awarded the project to Design & Build Terminal 5 and related Facilities at King Khaled International Airport. The project consisted of the full New Fuel Hydrant System for eight air craft parking stands including the tie-in with the existing Fuel hydrant line and associated works.

The scope of work includes the pipeline engineering, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of various size fuel hydrant pipelines. Additionally, the installation of DBB valves, 32 hydrant pits, low points and high points and tie-in from the existing line through existing valve chambers.

AMANA also completed works on the existing tie-in line by draining, cleaning and purging the line and the fuel hydrant network went through a series of air blowing, drying, fuel filling, soak testing, pressure testing, flushing and nitrogen purging.
