Riyadh Mall Community Centre

AMANA was awarded the Design and Build as part of the master development of Al Riyadh City made by Modon Properties. The city is intended to serve various housing projects of the UAE national population; and in order to complete the community feel, Modon chose to create a community centre with an approximately built-up area of 8,500 m² which is a self‐contained residential development.

The project consisted of designing, constructing and handing over the Al Riyadh North Community Centre Strip Mall fit for retail tenants.

Architecturally, the exterior roof and wall elevations consisted of clay tiles, heavy textured paint, stone cladding, precast concrete corniche, glazed curtain wall system for store fronts, and fabric canopies.

Structurally, the full building utilized offsite precast construction to produce precast columns, beams and hollowcore slabs.

For the interior, high end floor and wall finishes were installed to the satisfaction of the end-use and all retail units and anchor store were handed over as shell and core ready for tenant fit-out.

The scope included the handing over of the following:

• Community Mall Building:
• Retail and F&B areas
• Hypermarket (Anchor) Store
• BOH Areas
• Service rooms including: Transformer Room, LV Room, Pumps Room
• External Areas:
• Water Features
• Interlock Access Roads and pathways
• Shaded Car Park
• Hard and Soft Landscaping
• On-grade Car Parking and internal road infrastructure
