Pfizer Pharmaceutical Facility

This oral solid dose manufacturing facility will produce a wide range of Pfizer’s medicines currently supplied to the Kingdom. The facility has direct access to King Abdullah Port on the Red Sea for logistical ease and transportation. The state of the art facility consists of an administration building, a production building, warehouse and utility buildings.

The hygienic areas in the production building use High-Efficiency Particle Arrestance (HEPA) filtration that remove 99.97% of particles from the air that passes into and out of the building. An Environmental Management System is also used to maintain pressure within the labs. All mechanical and electrical systems are monitored and controlled by a building management system. Due to the complex nature of such a project MEP works were performed in-house by AMANA.
