My City Centre, Al Dhait

AMANA Contracting was appointed by Majid Al Futtaim to complete the Build of the My City Centre Shopping Centre, located in Al Dhait. The project has a built-up area of 7,000m² with a gross leasable area of 5,495m², housing more than 30 regional and international lifestyle brands.

The new project follows green building protocols with innovative methods and resource-efficient procedures in place, including collecting condensed water from air-conditioning and ventilation systems to use for irrigation and installing LED lighting and water-saving low-flow fixtures and faucets. The single story, 7,000m² property meets LEED Gold criteria and its solar-paneled parking bay shades, installed by AMANA Solar, are expected to deliver energy savings of 7.5%.
