EMAL Smelter Complex Non-Process Buildings
The entire EMAL smelter project consisted of around 85,000 tons of complex steel structures out of which AMANA erected 65% (approximately 55,000 tons).
In total, the contracts involved the construction of 49 buildings distributed between the following packages:
Steel erection of main potline buildings, carbon building and the installation of the on shore and offshore conveyor system. The installation includes 4km of conveyors, with intermediate steel structure transfer towers with a height of 50m, including the installation of the structure itself, the conveyor belts, pulleys, compressor pipes and firefighting works.
Turnkey construction of over 30 non-process buildings, as well as cast house offices and service buildings.
Steel fabrication of various steel structures for the green carbon plant and other scopes such as the rod shop conveyor and packing coke recovery system.
